Hiring Bonus!

Community Health Network has an excellent opportunity available within our Oncology Surgical Services (Colon and Rectal Care) team located on the north side in Indianapolis, Indiana. Where you fit in
The Registered Nurse Ambulatory functions as a member of the physician practice team, conducting duties such as: triaging calls, performing post-operative assessments, supporting the Provider in clinic to include obtaining patient medical information, entering orders/medications, patient education, scheduling nurse visits, performing in office wound care/packing, ostomy appliance changes, removal of PICC lines, foley catheters, or drains, reviewing medical history, carrying out Provider’s orders, initiating surgical clearances with follow-up to ensure receipt, completing surgical orders, prescription refills, initiating prior authorizations, notifying patients of lab results, nursing team support/coverage, and other related tasks as needed. 

Your exceptional skills
Two years or more of nursing experience preferred. One year of hospital experience required! Excellent communication skills; excellent team skills; compassionate and caring; accountable; self-directed.

Your exceptional qualifications
Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years related professional nursing experience. Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
