Join Community
Community Health Network was created by our neighbors, for our neighbors. Over 60 years later, “community” is still the heart of our organization. It means providing our neighbors with the best care possible, backed by state-of-the-art technology. It means getting involved in the communities we serve through volunteer opportunities and benefits initiatives. It means ensuring our dedicated caregivers can learn and grow to stay at the top of their fields and to better serve our patients. And above all, it means exceptional care, simply delivered — and we couldn’t do it without you.

Make a Difference
We are actively seeking a compassionate and trauma-informed Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team, with a focus on youth and family support. In this role, you will provide culturally competent mental health services to individuals and families, emphasizing trauma-informed care and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles. You will assess clients' needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support their healing journey.

- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating complex trauma, including attachment-based interventions and expressive therapies.
- Experience facilitating psychoeducational workshops or support groups for parents and caregivers.
- Collaborate with clients and their families to co-create culturally responsive treatment plans that address their unique strengths, challenges, and cultural backgrounds.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using trauma-informed modalities, such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Play Therapy, to promote healing and resilience.
- Utilize a strengths-based approach to empower clients in their recovery process and enhance their coping skills and self-esteem.
- Incorporate principles of DEI into all aspects of therapy, recognizing and respecting the intersectionality of clients' identities and experiences.
- Support families in understanding the impact of trauma on child development and parenting practices and provide guidance on creating a safe and nurturing environment at home.
- Stay informed about emerging research and best practices in youth mental health to continually enhance clinical interventions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client progress and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
