April joined Community Health Network as an oncology patient navigator in August 2023. April’s healthcare career began in 2000 working and helping patients navigate the healthcare system in the areas of orthopedic trauma surgery, pain management, and neurosurgery. April also has seven years of experience as a special services assistant through Center Grove Community School Corporation working with special needs preschool aged children where she has obtained TBRI training and CPI certification.
April is honored to be part of the Survivorship Program at Community. She is dedicated to the continuity of care by providing resources and support to patients in their personal journey to help ensure they are thriving in survivorship.
April was raised on the south side of Indianapolis and currently resides in Martinsville, Indiana, with her husband. They have five children and six grandchildren.
