COVID-19 Testing: If you have a primary care provider, call the office for testing questions and next steps. Testing at Community drive-thru tents is ONLY available with a provider order (see tent testing info). COVID-19 testing is available at MedChecks and Community Clinic at Walgreens during scheduled visits as part of an evaluation (walk-ins not accepted).

Providers
Deborah Demaree, DO
Dr. Demaree grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. She earned her bachelor of science in biochemistry from Purdue University in 2007 and attended medical school at A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She graduated with her doctor of osteopathy degree in 2011 and completed her residency in family medicine at Community Hospital East Family Medicine Residency in 2014. She joined Community Health Network in August 2014.
Dr. Demaree enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and two Cairn Terriers. In her free time, she enjoys knitting and dancing.
Derrick Walker, MD
Dr. Walker has bachelor of science degrees in biology and chemistry and a master of public health degree from Emory University. He has a doctor of medicine degree from Cornell Medical College in New York City and is board certified in family medicine. He sees patients of all ages and is especially interested in preventive medicine and pediatrics.
Dr. Walker resides in Indianapolis with his wife and daughters. He spends his free time bike riding, cooking and enjoying the outdoors with his family. He is an avid sports fan, especially of football and basketball.
Nissa Watkinson, NP
Nissa Watkinson is an AANP board certified family nurse practitioner. She earned her bachelor of arts in political science and sociology from Indiana University, bachelor of science in nursing from Indiana University, and her master's degree from the University of Indianapolis. She worked for five years as a nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Community Hospital East. Nissa enjoys spending time with her husband, three young children, and her large extended family near Greensburg, Indiana. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages. In her spare time, Nissa enjoys hiking and traveling.
Alissa Cohoat, NP
Alissa Cohoat is a family nurse practitioner who grew up in South Bend, Indiana. She earned her bachelor of science in nursing from Saint Mary's College and her master's degree from Indiana University. She has an extensive background in women's health and pediatrics, but loves caring for people of all ages. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, cooking, and spending time with her husband and three daughters.
Amber Fair, FNP
Amber Fair is an AANP board-certified family nurse practitioner. She earned her bachelor of arts in biology from Franklin College, a bachelor of science in nursing from IU School of Nursing and her master's degree from the University of Indianapolis. She has an extensive background as a nurse in emergency medicine and is comfortable caring for people of all ages. Amber is an active member of her church and loves spending time with her husband and three daughters.
Alicia Robbins, Health Coach
Alicia has a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology with minor in public health from Indiana University and is certified as an ACSM/NPAS Physical Activity in Public Health Specialist and AFPA Nutrition & Wellness Consultant.
Dani Lundgaard, Health Coach
Dani has a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology from IUPUI. She is certified as an ACSM/NPAS Physical Activity in Public Health Specialist, ACE Health Coach, ACE Personal Trainer, and AFPA Nutrition & Wellness Consultant.
Mike Granato, Health Coach
Mike has a bachelor of arts in communication and culture from Indiana University. He is a certified Wellcoach, ACE Health Coach, ACE Senior Fitness Specialist, NFPT Personal Trainer, and ACSM Physical Activity in Public Health Specialist.
