Support School-Based Care

You never know what concerns students carry.

School nurses do far more than handle Band-Aids and boo-boos. We know this because in more than 100 schools across Central Indiana, Community Health Network nurses are embedded at no cost to the schools in order to tend to students’ needs — many of which may surprise you.

SUPPORT

From managing life-threatening allergies and chronic conditions like asthma to providing students with clean underwear or clothes and connecting families to additional resources, school nurses act as ambassadors of health. Above all they are a shoulder to lean on, teaching students that their concerns are valid and that their health matters.

Your investment in our school nurse program helps equip them to keep students healthy and secure.

It’s not simply “where does it hurt?”, but “why does it hurt?” School nurses create a safe haven where students can experience unconditional attention from someone who truly cares.

Community Health Network’s mission is to enhance the health and well-being of the communities we serve, and nowhere is that more important than in our schools.

Help us create a healthier and brighter future for our community’s youth.
