Madelyn arrived early...with a few complications

The Sherertz's were so excited to welcome baby Madelyn, and welcome her they did - just a little early. Victoria experienced contractions at 31 weeks and went into pre-term labor. She spent three weeks in labor and delivery until Madelyn was born. Ten hours after her birth, Madelyn needed emergency surgery.

The technology in our NICU saved Madelyn's life, but the Sherertz's will tell you it's our caregivers who make the difference.
