Certified nurse-midwives can provide prenatal care, support during labor and birth, and postpartum care. They partner with patients and their families, with a focus on shared decision-making. Patients can expect a high level of communication tailored to their personal needs and cultural values.
Midwifery care also includes health and wellness counseling, as well as sexual health and gynecologic services - from annual exams to family planning and menopausal care.
