INDIANAPOLIS –January 11, 2011---CIGNA and Community Health Network announced today they have signed a new two-year agreement that continues in-network access for CIGNA customers to Community Hospital North; Community Hospital East; Community Hospital South; The Indiana Heart Hospital; and Community Hospital of Anderson, as well as hundreds of Community physicians.
“We are pleased to extend our long-standing relationship with Community Health Network and continue to offer our Indianapolis area customers access to its high-quality facilities,” said Sue Podbielski, president, CIGNA HealthCare Midwest Markets. “As part of our commitment to advancing the health and well-being of those we serve, we strive to offer a strong network of quality and cost efficient health care choices to meet our customers’ individual needs.”
Through the new agreement, CIGNA customers, including Sagamore Health Network and Indiana Health Network customers, can continue to receive in-patient and out-patient services at in-network rates at Community Health Network’s facilities comprised of five hospitals and more than 450 physicians.
