Favorite Part of Residency: My favorite part of residency was the friendships I formed and support I experienced from my co-residents along with the diverse patient population that I was able to learn from. I feel that our faculty and staff did an excellent job in helping me access a variety of clinical experiences that enhanced my clinical skills and psychiatric knowledge.

Favorite Part of Residency: My favorite part of residency was the community within the program, both among the residents and with faculty. Among the residents, I found a network of support that I could learn from and have a family in, and among the faculty, I was able to be challenged in a collegial and nurturing environment.

Favorite Part of Residency: My favorite part of residency was being able to see such a wide range of psychopathology and treatment modalities. As a new attending, I feel well prepared for the diverse population I serve.​

Favorite Part of Residency: My favorite part of residency was the individualized mentorship by the faculty, and the leadership development opportunities our program and larger network provides for each resident. Our program does a great job aligning one’s interests and future career ambitions and supporting career growth toward that end!

Favorite Part of Residency: My favorite part of residency was easily my co-residents. I wouldn’t have gotten this far with their support and friendship.

Favorite Part of Residency: My favorite part of residency were all of the great relationships I was able to build, from the first day on inpatient to the last day on outpatient, everyone supported me as a physician and a person. I could not have asked for better people to work with.

Favorite Part of Residency: My favorite part of residency was two-fold: First, the camaraderie and support network of residents, faculty and staff…couldn’t have done it without all these awesome people! Second, the mindset of flexibility as a new program, which encouraged us to explore, grow, and develop in alignment with our own unique ambitions.

Favorite Part of Residency: My favorite part of residency was getting a wide variety of exposure to psychopathology through various sites that treat different populations, all while getting to learn from such knowledgeable attendings that care deeply about our clinical learning experience.

Favorite Part of Residency: My favorite part of residency was by far the people. Not only what will be lifelong friendships with my co-residents, but our exceptional faculty and staff in our inpatient and outpatient settings.

Favorite Part of Residency: My favorite part of my time in residency was the flexibility and diversity of patient and population encounters, and the relationships, friends, and mentors made along the way. I feel that the variety of experiences allowed me to develop into the psychiatrist I am today!

Favorite Part of Residency: My favorite part of my time at residency was all the leadership training and mentorship, including learning about patient safety, quality improvement, and managing teams. These tools have been instrumental in my career of managing populations of health!

Favorite Part of Residency: The ability to tailor the educational program to individualized interests. My cohort had varied interests including addictions, women's health, etc., and each of us was able to design our training around these variety interests. Faculty was also supportive in helping to facilitate this.

Favorite Part of Residency: My favorite part of CHN residency was being part of a tight-knit community that felt like a family and made me feel supported from the very start. I also loved the diversity of patients I was exposed to, which enhanced my psychiatric knowledge and clinical skills.
