He is one of those doctors that will listen to you and and advise you how to take your next step for your second opinion he does do a thorough check and I like that about him also

Only had a limited interaction with Dr Sloan due to the fact that I was scheduling surgery. I wish there was an option to do this visit with a video chat. I drove 3 hours for a 5 minute conversation.

Dr Sloan is a great doctor knows what he’s doing knows what needs to be done but does not listen to the patient. I’m with a patient says is wrong and how they feel he comes in and tells you what he believes is wrong and does what he thinks needs to be done does not give the patient Room or time to say what how they feel and what they think it wrong and then back out the door he goes not listening to what the patient really has to say. He might listen for a few minutes, but that as far as it goes.

Dr Sloan was very helpful and explained how to handle my situation.

Perhaps I was interrupting something because he only talked with me for about 10 minutes. I felt rushed as if I was wasting his time since I was not a good candidate for surgery.

This is the 2nd surgery I've had with Dr. Sloan this year with extremely good results.

Dr Sloan is a nice doctor. He comes out into the office and greets you and takes you back to the room and ask you about your specific illness and what is wrong and then explain to you what he thinks needs to be done he get you in and out of the office quick. There’s hardly no wait at his office in the waiting room or back in the room.

He didnt have any compassion for me while I was crying so upset that I could barely speak. He didnt explain anything to me just said I dont need surgery and we've done everything I'll send you to EMG! So I just felt he didnt care and I was wasting his time.

Dr. Sloan provided clear, direct and easy to understand information. He explained details of my condition and walked me through my MRI results.

Dr. Sloan found a herniated disc on a previous MRI image that had not been found by another Community Spine Surgeon and his partners. He said he could fix this with a 30 minute surgery. I'm hoping that the MRI he ordered confirms this finding and my 16 months of nerve pain will be over soon.

As I stated before. Doctor Sloan is an excellent Neuro Surgeon. He is very kind, pleasant and listens. He really cares. He is a blessing.

I do believe that Dr. Sloan must be a very conscientious and good surgeon and that he cares about the well-being of his patients, because he has had the opportunity to do surgery on me but doesn’t want to do it yet, as he feels that my condition does not yet warrant it. To me THAT is a good surgeon and it proves he is not in it for the money, which some of them are.

He was rude, he was disrespectful, he didn’t show any understanding or empathy for my symptoms or condition. He told me I didn’t have what I’ve been diagnosed with and I wasn’t in his office, in my room when called for 2 mins before he was ready to end the appointment. He didn’t check my throat, spine, eyes or ears, when in visit notes in MyChart said he did.
