The Community difference

It starts by listening. Before we are able to offer the best possible information, guidance, diagnosis and treatment, the first thing we do is listen.

More than 50 years ago, Community was built by private citizens who desired their own hospital close by. Over the years, we continued to listen to our patients' and team members' needs by expanding our reach, improving our services and delivering quality, compassionate health care. Today Community Health Network is represented by five hospitals across central Indiana, more than 90 sites of care, advanced medical technologies and treatments, clinical excellence as well as hundreds of skilled physicians, nurses and caregivers who are among the best in the Midwest.

As one of the largest employers in central Indiana, we are proud of our reputation of attracting and retaining the brightest talents in health care. The network's leadership is committed to creating a positive culture and professional development opportunities to make Community a satisfying place to reach one's career goals.

It's your choice. It's your career. It's your Community.

Community again named among the regions's "Top Workplaces"

The Indianapolis Star Top Workplaces 2011For the third year in a row, Community Health Network has been ranked among central Indiana’s top large employers. The Top Workplaces rankings are presented by The Indianapolis Star and are based on a survey of the region’s employees, conducted by Pennsylvania-based employee recruitment and retention consultant Workplace Dynamics.

Employees of Community and other participating companies answered a series of questions through an online survey. Of Community’s approximately 11,000 employees, more than 5,000 shared their views about being on the Community team. The response represented a significant proportion of the total surveys returned for all participating employers across central Indiana.

According to Community’s president and CEO, Bryan Mills, “the most important thing about this program is the actual survey data. The surveys, which were gathered anonymously, are a goldmine of honest and incredibly helpful feedback,” which he says Community began using immediately as part of its focus on creating exceptional experiences for employees. “We’re committed to acting on this information and ensuring that Community is truly the health care employer of choice.”
