How much does a MedCheck visit cost?
Pay at time of service
Payment methods accepted include cash, check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express).
$40 - Flu shot (Influenza)
$40 - Sports, School and Camp Physicals ages 21 and under
MedCheck is a participating provider in many insurance plans. However, we recommend contacting your insurance company before your visit to make sure we're in network and to verify coverage for the specific service you're seeking.
We offer price estimates to help patients understand their out-of-pocket costs via our Pricing Support Center at 317-355-9279. Certain insurance plans may not cover all of our services or may have specific referral requirements. The co-payment for your specific plan will be collected during your visit. Please have a hard copy of your insurance card, proof of ID, and a valid form of payment at time of service.
There may be an outstanding amount due after our bill is processed by your insurance company. Based on your insurance plan and medical benefit, you could be responsible for charges beyond the amount paid at the time of service for things like your deductible, co-insurance or services not included in your benefit.

When should I go to an emergency department?
Major medical emergencies need the attention available 24/7 at Community hospital emergency departments. These situations might include cardiac (heart) conditions, difficulty breathing, serious head injury, spinal cord injury, severe allergic reactions, extensive second- or third-degree burns, or substance overdose. Please go to your nearest emergency department to receive care for these conditions.
Do I need to make an appointment?
To skip the waiting room, we encourage you to Save a Spot. Walk-in patients are always welcome, but the Save a Spot option will get you in and out quicker.
How long is the wait time?
Wait times vary by location, time of day and season. If you would prefer not to wait, Save a Spot at a location near you.
How should I prepare for my visit?
Each of the items below and a form of payment are due at the time of service. Without these necessary documents we may not be able to see you.
- A valid ID
- Hard copy of your insurance
- Form of payment
Note: Please arrive ten minutes prior to your save a spot time. Your time will not be held if you arrive late. If you are late, the provider will see you based on availability.
What should I do upon arrival at the MedCheck?
- Proceed to the touch-screen kiosk to check in.
- If you saved a spot, just find your name and check in. Or, if you need to get in line please follow the prompts on the kiosk to check in.
Have a seat in the waiting room. The MedCheck team will call you as soon as you can be seen.
What if I have a doctor already?
MedCheck is perfect for when your own doctor is unavailable, and we’ll be glad to forward any information about your care at your request. We also encourage you to see your own doctor for any follow-up care. If you don’t have a doctor, call 317-621-2727 or use our online Find a Doctor tool to find one.
