Community Sports Medicine provides their expertise to Indy Eleven professional soccer team - now through the 2018 season. The team plays in the North American Soccer League (NASL) and opened their inaugural season in the spring of 2014. Community provides team physicians and athletic trainers to keep the team performing at the top of their sport.
William Mosi Jones, MD, is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, sports medicine and electrodiagnostic medicine (EMG). He received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Jones completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Emory University. In addition, he completed his primary care sports medicine fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute under the tutelage of Drs. James Andrews and Tracy Ray.
As a sports medicine physician, Dr. Jones specializes in non-operative sports medicine, chronic tendon and muscle injuries, non-surgical osteoarthritis management, performing EMG/nerve conduction studies, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and weightlifting injury prevention.
Dr. Jones is the lead team physician for Indy Eleven and supports the Indy Fuel professional hockey team as well as Southport High School athletics.
