24-Hour Crisis

Community's 24-hour crisis line provides phone screenings and/or face-to-face evaluations for psychiatric emergencies. Please call 317-621-5700 (Option #1).

For non-medical emergencies, enter through the Crisis lobby of the Behavioral Health Pavilion located on the north end of Community Hospital North.

Services

  • Triage and assessment
  • Crisis stabilization
  • Referral to community resources
  • Same-day evaluations for at-risk individuals
  • Collaboration with Indiana Crisis Assistance Response Team (I-CART) to provide school crisis services
  • Collaboration with Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) teams to assist companies and organizations that have experienced a traumatic event(s) in the workplace

Who we can help

We treat youth (ages 5-18), adults and seniors with mental health, substance use and co-occurring (mental health and substance use) disorders.

Treatment staff

Our multidisciplinary team includes physicians (including psychiatrists and other medical specialties), advanced practice nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, patient care technicians, and a wide variety of licensed professional counseling staff, including mental health counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and addiction counselors.
