Genetic Testing and Counseling
Genetic counseling is available for individuals and families who are concerned about the risk of inherited cancers, cardiovascular disease or high-risk prenatal conditions.
Concerned About Your Risk?
To make an appointment with a genetic counselor, call the Community Health Network genetic counseling hotline. Select the option for the area you are interested in: 1) Cancer, 2) Cardiovascular, 3) Prenatal or 4) General questions.
Genetic testing looks for changes (mutations) in a person’s genes that can increase a person’s risk for developing diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease or abnormal prenatal conditions.
Meet Our Genetic Counselors
Genetic counselors are licensed, specially trained health professionals who can help assess an individual or family risk of inherited genetic diseases. Community's certified genetic counselors offer counseling for cancer, cardiovascular disease and prenatal/high-risk pregnancy conditions.
