Michelle McGovern, BSN, RN, OCN

Michelle is a registered nurse and is oncology certified (OCN) through the Oncology Nursing Society. Her nursing background is from Simon Cancer Center in inpatient hematology, oncology, autologous stem cell transplant and hospice.

Michelle graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and psychology and a master’s degree in criminal justice. She later returned to school to get her BSN from Indiana University. Michelle was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing in 2016 and won a Daisy Award in 2018 for compassionate patient care in nursing. Michelle has been a volunteer nurse for Camp Kesem and Casting for Recovery, and has volunteered for the Young Survival Coalition Peer Match program.

Michelle lives in Noblesville with her husband and their two kids. Michelle enjoys traveling, running, biking and anything outdoors. Michelle was a Susan G. Komen ambassador in 2018. She is also an ambassador for the Megan S. Ott Foundation, and is a new member co-chair and paddler on the Indy SurviveOars.
