Katie Elliott began working for Community Health Network in 2006 at Community Cancer Center North as a business office specialist. In 2008, she moved to Community Hospital Anderson with the same role. In 2009, Katie began working as the cancer registrar for Community Hospital Anderson, capturing a complete summary of the history, diagnosis, treatment and disease status for all oncology patients. In 2012, Katie, along with her director, began the general navigation program at Community Hospital Anderson. In 2016, she moved into her current role in oncology quality and navigation.
Katie obtained her bachelor of science degree in business administration with a specialty in healthcare management from University of Phoenix. She also obtained her navigation certification through the Academy of Oncology Nurse & Patient Navigators (AONN).
Katie is married and has one daughter. In her free time she enjoys boating and spending time with her family and friends.
