Beth Yeadon, RN, BSN, OCN, ONN-CG

GI/Colorectal Cancer Navigator, Community Cancer Center North

Beth has been a nurse for almost 30 years. She has enjoyed a diverse background including adolescent psych, home care, ambulatory care, and open heart recovery. She discovered her passion when she began working in medical oncology 10 years ago at Community Cancer Center North as a treatment nurse.

She received one of Community Hospital’s Nursing Excellence Awards in 2010. She also achieved her certification in 2010 through the Oncology Nursing Society. In 2014, Beth received a nomination in the Indianapolis Star’s Salute to Nursing contest.

She feels having the opportunity to support patients with cancer on their unplanned journeys is a great gift. Being an oncology nurse is about embracing connectedness with patients, which forms bonds that cannot be easily described, only felt.

Beth and her husband of 28 years, Tim, have four children. She loves to run, hike, bike and generally be outdoors any chance she gets. She enjoys traveling to new places and experiencing challenges which help her grow.
