Breast Cancer Awareness: "Commit To One" Pledge

We’re encouraging women under 40 to take the ”Commit to One” pledge.

Commit to one self-breast exam, one day, once a month.

Why “commit to one”?
Ask Lauren Dages and Markeeta Morrow. Both moms in their early 30s have been battling Stage 2 breast cancer over the last year. They both discovered a lump through self-breast exams. This early detection may have saved their lives. Now, they’re spreading the word on this important step in self-care through their social channels. Check out the videos to hear their personal journeys in the fight against cancer and pledge to “Commit to One”.

When to “commit to one”?
Pick a day several days after your period ends, when your breasts are least likely to be swollen and tender. If you no longer have periods, choose a day that’s easy to remember, like the first or last day of the month. Mark your calendar. Take the pledge.

How to “commit to one”?
