Undergraduate Medical Education

We welcome the opportunity to be a part of your medical school education. Community has a long history of providing training to medical students, including ongoing partnerships with Marian University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine and Indiana University School of Medicine. Our network mission is to train and retain the best physicians for our state and region, and as such, our primary partners are Indiana schools. We only accept students from schools under licensure in Indiana, and where we have a legal affiliation agreement.

Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine

Marian University

In 2012, CHNw entered into a partnership with Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MUCOM) to support the development of a new school of osteopathic medicine in Indiana. The school opened in August 2013 and matriculated its first class of students. The osteopathic training programs emphasize a holistic care of the patient, including mind, body, and spirit. Students from Marian observe our physicians in many clinical settings, and will participate in many clinical activities throughout their four years of training, including clerkships in 2015 and electives in 2016 as our partnership grows.
