New service! Breastfeeding drop-in center
Community Hospital East
Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Any mother who has questions about breastfeeding can come during the drop-in center hours to weigh her baby and get help from a hospital lactation consultant. Mothers with breastfeeding babies from any stage, newborn through weaning, are welcome. Mothers-to-be are encouraged to come ask questions and familiarize themselves with the service. Mothers who have delivered elsewhere are also welcome to take advantage of this free community service.
For more information, contact Natalie Goss, IBCLC at ngoss@eCommunity.com or call the lactation office at 317-355-2345. More about breastfeeding and lactation consultant services >>
Have your baby at a health network where everything goes according to plan. Even when those plans change.
Having your baby at Community Health Network means having the peace of mind that you’re in excellent hands should complications arise. As a parent, you’ll quickly learn having a back-up plan is a pretty good plan. Any pregnancy can turn high-risk – which is why just any hospital won’t do. Community has the most advanced neonatal intensive care unit in the state. In fact, other hospitals model theirs after ours. Even after the delivery, no one delivers like we do.
