I love the preventive health care practices (routine cancer screening) he has put in place (post surgery) for me as well. Dr. Lowery has been exceptional in my cancer care. He listens and never dismisses my issues. A patient understands their body better than anyone and he respects that. Even when my CTScans showed no new tumors I knew I was having a recurrence. He listened and went in for an investigative laparascopy and found more cancer. He didn't rely solely on the scan or the bloodtests. My blood markers run in the low numbers. Another doctor would have dismissed my concerns but I knew. He listened and he acted. Every doctor needs to have this mindset and always go the extra mile and not give up on their patients. It's a long journey for us and I had a doctor who didn't listen to my complaints prior to this and dismissed me. That's how my cancer got to stage 3 before it was ever discovered. Dr. Lowery is a go-getter and I'm grateful for this as this journey continues. Thank you.
