OK so John had a student with him and he did not ask me if the student could come in with him so I asked him who was the young lady that was with you and he told me she was a student then he approached me and said, was it OK if she’s in the Room with us and I said sure that’s what I was waiting on.

Dr DiTslear wad very personable, patient and answered all my questions and inquiries wisely. I look forward to getting to learn more from him about bariatric surgery during this process. I am at ease with knowing that with his experience and knowledge he will be the one performing such a life changing procedure for me.

He's patient with his patients - empathetic, helpful, caring. He listens to your concerns and then offers advice -but he is also very real and direct. You cannot lie to him and expect him to believe it - the science is on his side. BUT, he'll help in every way. I'm almost 100lb down and ready for my 2nd surgery.

John is a caring person that listens and asks great questions when receiving patient information. He is always engaging and my wife and I clearly see, hear and feel his commitment to us during our appointments.

He noted the results of the CT scan that with the hernia issue that there were other things showing in the scan including scar tissue from other .

Dr Ditslear is fantastic. I had adhesion complication during my surgery and he spent over 2 hours removing them so he get to the actual procedure. I came thru grat with an awesome outcome. He is the sweetest, kindest, most caring Dr I know. Bless the day I transferred to him.

He made me feel comfortable answering all my questions explaining everything to me and the procedure and I appreciate it him and his whole team is the best and this my 2 procedure the first procedure was with another doctor, and he also helping with the procedure. I had previously to revise me to a new procedure and explained it all to me.

Gosh where do I even start? Dr D. is absolutely amazing. He is so incredibly knowledgable and was so patient walking me through the process of deciding on what type of surgery. His bed side manner is impeccable. He is so calming and caring. Each time I have seen him, pre and post op, I feel he really is focused on just me and my health and recovery.

John was very gentle sometimes doctors help make you feel fat even knowing weight is such a touchy situation. He listened to me and showed me empathy. I really like him and is happy he is apart of my journey.

I’m displeased with the whole community network stemming from March to current it all started with Community east where I laid in pain throwing up my on bile when I asked to use the restroom mind you I got there by ambulance cause I was found on the floor unable to move I requested community north and was denied by ambulance when I get to East I was literally throwing up my own bile I had to urinate and was told the restroom was around the corner a bed pan was not offered long story short I had to urinate in the same pan I used to vomit , I sat for more than 8 hours literally getting weaker and weaker finally I was told that my small intestine had ruptured and I had to be transferred to North literally I got there @ 7pm and was not transferred till 10am the next more the pain was so intense I could not physically open my mouth @ 11am Dr Jones rushed me to surgery who is responsible for saving my life I was discharged from North with no pain meds or nothing I didn’t receive a prescription until 3 weeks later , I’ve complain to Distlear several times of the pain , 3rd follow up I’m be admitted in on someone else’s name and birthday I caught the error and a nurse comes in and stops the whole admittance stating that she corrected it it but never took my medical information not bring my records up or taking my information meds complaints nothing … Distlear comes in and says it’s scar tissue nothing else but I’ve been doubled over for two months I really feel like I’ve been racially profiled
