Doctor left me waiting for an hour before even speaking with me. Finally the nurse says it time to start the exam but I needed to use the restroom. I am out within a moment then the nurse and doctor left me to lay bent over the table for 10 minutes with no information on how long I was going to be waiting.

I did everything to not cry during my second visit. It was odd that he patted me on the back during/immediately after the exam. I'm probably just extra sensitive but it seemed like an odd thing to do.

I had to wait awhile, but I have worked in a physician office and I know how the schedule can run behind. I appreciate a physician who takes time with his/her patients. I always take something to read or something to do while I wait. Dr. G was very knowledgeable about my case, answered my questions, and also has a sense of humor which i always like. He was worth waiting for!

I didn’t feel like he really listened to me. Then after my procedure, I had a complication and he seemed to care more about NOT sending me to the ER than my own well being. What doctor recommends his patient to not go to the ER after being knocked unconscious?

Yes you may use the following: I wish there was a number higher than a "10" because a "10" just doesn't get it ! Dr. Gowdamarajan deserves a number way higher than that ! Dr. Gowdamarajan is obviously highly intelligent, professional, caring, sincere, very calming, and he listens intently to what I have to say then we go on from there. And, he is extremely good at making sure that I understand everything that we are talking about, unlike some others that I have dealt with in the past. Calming? I can't really describe it, but each time he comes in just before the procedure to speak with me............well, as soon as I see him and hear his voice "I KNOW EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE ALRIGHT"! At that moment I'm totally at ease ! I have the utmost trust and respect for Dr. Gowdamarajan! P.S. If Dr. Gowdamarajan were, for any reason to leave Community, I would be gone also!
