Director of Development, Community Health Network Foundation

Jennifer Bolander joined Community Health Network Foundation in February of 2019.  As director of development for corporate and foundation giving, Jennifer focuses on developing partnerships with companies and foundations to increase support for Community Health Network’s mission, services and programs. For many years, Jennifer has trusted her family’s care to Community, and she is committed to supporting the non-profit health system’s caregivers, patients and the Central Indiana communities where they work and live.

Jennifer’s career in nonprofit service spans nearly 20 years. Most recently, she served as regional philanthropy officer for the American Red Cross of Indiana, specializing in foundation and corporate relations for the central and northern regions of the state. Prior to this role, Jennifer worked as director of grant development and management for the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis, where she researched, wrote and managed grant applications and proposals for 13 YMCA centers in Central Indiana. She has also held positions at the Roller Skating Association International/Roller Skating Foundation and the National Junior Tennis League (NJTL) in Indianapolis.

Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Indiana University in Bloomington. Later in her career, she returned to school and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University. In 2016, Jennifer earned her credentials as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). Jennifer serves on the CICOA Foundation board of directors.
