Community Sports Medicine partners with Indianapolis Fitness and Sports Training

Indianapolis, IN---Community Sports Medicine has formed a partnership with Indianapolis Fitness and Sports Training (IFAST), for sports performance and conditioning training. As a partner, IFAST will collaborate with Community Sports Medicine, covering the new professional Indy Eleven soccer team in providing player management and skill development support to keep the athletes performing at the top of their game.

“We’re pleased to partner with Mike Robertson, co-founder of IFAST, as we keep Indy Eleven soccer players performing at the top of their game every week,” said Nichole Wilson, Community’s director of physical therapy and rehab/sports medicine. “He brings expertise in conditioning and training, as he has worked with athletes at the highest levels in world competitions. We are fortunate to have Mike’s experience for Indy’s new professional soccer team.”

Mike Robertson is president of Robertson Training Systems and a co-owner of IFAST, which has been voted one of the top gyms in the country by Men’s Health and Women’s Health magazines. Recognized around the world as a premier performance coach, he is now collaborating with Community Sports Medicine as the sports medicine provider for the Indy Eleven professional soccer team members.  Robertson was brought on to provide superior player management for the Indy Eleven athletes in reaching their peak performance goals, while ensuring that they healthy during the long season.  Ty Terrell, a coach at IFAST, is providing additional strength and conditioning coaching to help the Indy Eleven perform at the highest level on the field.

Community Sports Medicine recently became the official sports medicine provider to the Indy Eleven professional soccer team and the Indy Fuel professional hockey team.   The program also supports ten area high schools, including Beech Grove, Decatur Central, Franklin Central, Greenwood, Lawrence Central, Lawrence North, New Palestine and Warren Central. Additionally, Community Sports Medicine partners with Riverview Hospital and Johnson Memorial Health to support Noblesville High School and the Whiteland High School athletic program.
