IndianapolisCommunity Hospital East opened to the public the doors of its new lobby, marking the end of a five-year $175 reinvestment project.

The New East architecture was envisioned by our staff out of a need to serve our patients in a more efficient and modern facility,” said East hospital administrator and Chief Nurse Executive Paige Dooley.

The hospital has been part of the east side of Indianapolis, at 16th Street and Ritter Avenue, since opening its doors in 1956. The $175 million reinvestment maintains the Network’s commitment to provide exceptional, accessible care to patients on the east side for many years to come.
