Indianapolis, IN—Dr. Anthony Sanders, an Ob/Gyn for Community Health Network is one of three doctors featured on the cover of the Indianapolis Monthly’s “Top Docs” issue for 2020. Each year, the magazine lists the most trusted physicians in the city. The “Top Doc” award goes to physicians from a wide range of specialties, chosen by their peers. It’s the second year Community has had a doctor on the cover and the latest honor for Dr. Sanders.
A year ago, Dr. Sanders was named “Indiana Caregiver of the Year” by the Indiana Hospital Association. He was recognized for his leadership in the development of the CHOICE (Change, Hope, Overcome, Inspire, Compassion, Educate) program.
CHOICE helps pregnant women struggling with addiction. The program makes resources available to these expectant mothers including medical care, medication-assisted therapy, and specialty consultation. CHOICE has helped nearly 200 women in the Indianapolis area.
Dr. Sanders has been with Community Health Network for more than 10 years and serves on Community’s Physicians Board.
