Community Health Network names first Chief Analytics Officer

Indianapolis—Community Health Network announced the creation of Chief Analytics Officer, and named Patrick McGill, MD to the position.

Patrick McGill, MD, Chief Analytics OfficerThe Chief Analytics Officer will be responsible for all aspects of network analytics at Community including envisioning data-enabled strategies, overseeing data and analytics governance, and leading Community’s effort to use analytics to drive innovation and network objectives.

Dr. McGill advanced through a variety of roles since joining Community in 2010 as a family physician. After working in Informatics, he was named medical director for physician informatics. In 2017, Dr. McGill was named Vice President, Clinical Transformation, and shortly thereafter became Senior Vice President, Clinical Strategies.

Beyond his medical training, McGill also completed the Accelerated Practices Program at Health Catalyst University, and serves on the clinical advisory council at Health Catalyst, Community’s key analytics partner.
