Community Health Network North Region COO named VP of Product Line Strategy

Indianapolis—Community Health Network has named North Region Chief Operating Officer Kelly Barton as the network’s new Vice President of Product Line Strategy—Integrated Primary Care.

In her new role, Barton will be responsible for the network’s strategic and business development. She will lead ways to improve the process to reduce clinical variation and improve quality, as well as identify opportunities for success in value-based care while driving growth within Integrated Primary Care.

"Kelly brings a wealth of experience to our Primary Care team and a vision and passion for improving health in our community," said Jim Read, Community's Senior Vice President for Product Line Strategy. "I am fortunate to have her on the team and I can't wait to see where she leads this service line."

Before coming to Community in 2016, Barton served as vice president for clinical operations for Wisconsin-based Gundersen Health System. She holds a masters of public health degree from the University of Minnesota; and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Barton begins her new role February 26.
