Community Physician Network welcomes new providers

Indianapolis, IN--- Community Physician Network, the integrated, multi-specialty physician group at Community Health Network, welcomes the following providers.

Chaitanya Chekkilla, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician whose areas of interest include preventive medicine and treatment of chronic medical problems. She was born and raised in Hyderabad, India, and attended medical school at Kakatiya Medical College in India. She completed her family medicine residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan, and joins Community after providing patient care in North Vernon, Indiana, for three years. Dr. Chekkilla’s office is located at 8920 Southpointe Drive, Suite B, Indianapolis.

Thomas Cittadine, MD,
is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and sports medicine injuries. He completed his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine and his orthopedic residency at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was fellowship trained in hand surgery at the Indiana Hand Center and was also a flight surgeon for the United States Air Force. Dr. Cittadine provides a variety of non-surgical and surgical treatments, including general orthopedics for pediatric and adult patients. Prior to joining Community, he was in private orthopedic practice in Noblesville for 35 years. His office is located at 18051 River Avenue, Suite 100, Noblesville.

James Cole, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in cervical, thoracic and lumbar surgery. He completed his medical degree at East Tennessee State University and his internship in general surgery and residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Kentucky. He then completed a fellowship in neck and spine surgery at Tulane University Medical Center. Dr. Cole’s primary goal is conservative treatment. He offers treatment for a variety of spinal diagnoses with non-operative and operative methods. Dr. Cole has three office locations: 1550 East County Line Road, Suite 200, Indianapolis; 965 Emerson Park, Suite K, Greenwood; and 275 West Bassett Road, Suite 3, Shelbyville.

Megan Leivant, MD, is a board-certifiedinternal medicine physician who was born and raised in Indianapolis. She attended DePauw University for her undergraduate studies and Indiana University School of Medicine for medical school. After completing her internal medicine residency at McGaw Medical Center at Northwestern University, she practiced in Chicago for two years and was assistant professor of clinical medicine at Northwestern University School of Medicine. She then practiced for four years at Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center while also providing support as assistant professor of clinical medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Leivant cares for adult patients and has special interests in preventive care and complex chronic disease management. Her office is located at 11911 North Meridian Street, Suite 110, Carmel.

Jaime Stelzer, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician who has special interests in childhood asthma and preventive care. She grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, and earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. She moved to New York City and worked in cardiac surgery research at Beth Israel Medical Center for two years before pursuing her medical degree. She graduated with honors from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, and completed her pediatric residency at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. Prior to joining Community, she worked as a pediatric hospitalist and outpatient pediatrician in Indianapolis for five years. Dr. Stelzer’s office is located at 1629 Medical Arts Boulevard, Suite 200, Anderson.
