Community Physician Network announces pediatric subspecialty co-medical directors

Indianapolis, IN---Community Physician Network, the integrated, multi-specialty physician group at Community Health Network, has announced that Clinton Cavett, MD, pediatric surgeon, and Kathryn Kelly, MD, pediatric hospitalist, will serve as co-medical directors of the pediatric subspecialty division. Their clinical leadership will guide quality and patient satisfaction initiatives, while focusing on ease of navigation across the pediatric continuum of care.

“Dr. Cavett and Dr. Kelly have a passion for delivering exceptional care to young patients,” said Patrick Rankin, M.D., chief medical officer at Community Physician Network. “Thanks to their proven practice experience and clinical leadership, we will continue to enhance the patient experience at Community by ensuring the highest level of collaboration and coordination among every member of our pediatric care team.”

Dr. Cavett completed his medical degree at the University of Mississippi and his residency at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He completed his pediatric surgery fellowship at Children’s Hospital National Medical Center in Washington, DC. He has been a member of the American Pediatric Surgical Association since 1984.

Dr. Kelly is a native of South Bend, Indiana. She completed her bachelor’s degree at Duquesne University and returned to Indiana to obtain her medical degree at Indiana University. She completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at University of South Florida. Dr. Kelly is board-certified in pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Medical Association.
