Community Heart and Vascular welcomes Jo Mahenthiran, MD, FACC

Indianapolis, IN---Jo Mahenthiran, MD, FACC, recently joined Community Heart and Vascular. Dr. Mahenthiran is the 12th physician to join the nationally recognized program since integrating in January 2009.

A board certified cardiologist with more than 10 years of experience, Dr. Mahenthiran is known for his specialization in non-invasive cardiology and cardiac imaging. Most recently, he was an associate professor of clinical medicine and the director of cardiac imaging at Krannert Institute of Cardiology, IndianaUniversity.

In his new role with Community Heart and Vascular, Dr. Mahenthiran will serve as the director of advanced cardiac imaging, including ultrasound, nuclear imaging, cardiac CT and cardiovascular MRI. His office will be located at The Indiana Heart Hospital on the campus of Community Hospital North.

“Dr. Mahenthiran is an enormous addition to our program,” said Ram Yeleti, M.D., president of Community Heart and Vascular. “His strong research and academic background, combined with his expertise in cardiac testing, will further advance the safety, quality and service to our patients and other physicians.”

Dr. Mahenthiran joins a team of experienced cardiologists, cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons.
