Community Health Network welcomes neuropsychologist to Hook Rehabilitation team

Indianapolis, IN---Hook Rehabilitation Center, the comprehensive acute inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation program at Community Health Network, welcomes Jennifer Wethe, Ph.D., to its team of neuropsychologists. Dr. Wethe is a licensed psychologist with more than a decade of experience working with adults and children who have experienced a traumatic brain injury or other neurological condition. Dr. Wethe comes to Community from Barrow Neurologic al Institute-St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz., where she was a faculty neuropsychologist and associate director of the Children’s Center for Neuropsychological Rehabilitation.

“Dr. Wethe’s arrival provides additional strength to the Hook Rehabilitation team,” said Doug Beebe, executive director of Hook Rehabilitation Services. “Her career has focused on brain injury and other neurological disorders, in both children and adults. She has extensive experience in holistic rehabilitation, and she brings a strong, research-focused, interdisciplinary approach to patient and family care.”

Dr. Wethe completed a bachelor of arts degree in psychology at Purdue University. She went on to complete a master of science degree and doctor of philosophy degree in clinical psychology, also at Purdue University. She trained as a pre-doctoral fellow at Wishard Health Services-Indiana University Medical Center; completed a neuropsychology internship at University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston; and a post-doctoral fellowship at Barrow Neurological Institute-St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.

Dr. Wethe is a member of the International Neuropsychological Society, National Academy of Neuropsychology and American Psychological Association. Her research has been published in various professional journals.
