Community Health Network announces new leadership positions

Indianapolis, IN---Community Health Network welcomes two new leaders to its ranks, with the addition of two newly-created positions. Scott Reece, M.D., has joined the network as medical director of primary care outreach, while Tony Javorka takes on the role of chief operating officer for Community’s new integrated physician group.

Dr. Reece will provide oversight for Community’s new extended care facility physician practices. He most recently served as the senior associate director of the Department of Medical Education Family Medicine Residency at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. He also was a family practice physician in Delaware County for 24 years.

A graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. Reece completed his family practice residency at Ball Memorial and is a diplomat with the American Board of Family Practice.

Javorka serves as the senior operations leader for physician practice locations across Central Indiana that are part of Community’s integrated physician group. Javorka previously held the position of chief operating officer for practice and hospital operations at Community Heart and Vascular (CHV), where he was responsible for all aspects of operational leadership across The Indiana Heart Hospital and the CHV physician practices and testing centers.

Prior to joining Community, Javorka served as CEO for Indiana Heart Associates, as well as senior manager of the Health Care Group at Somerset. He has a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Indiana State University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Indiana CPA Society, and Medical Group Management Association.
