Community Howard Regional Health welcomes new pediatric orthopedic surgeon
Kokomo—Community Howard Regional Health announced today that Dr. Courtney Holland, a board-certified and fellowship-trained pediatric orthopedic surgeon, has joined the hospital.
Dr. Holland joins orthopedic physicians Clifford Evans, Mohammad Nekoomaram and Joshua Kluetz at Community Howard Orthopedic Center, located at 3512 South Lafountain Street in Kokomo. Dr. Holland will treat both adults and children.
“We are very pleased to have Dr. Holland join our orthopedic team at Community Howard as he brings a new dimension to the level of care that’s available in Kokomo,” said Joe Hooper, president at Community Howard Regional Health. “Dr. Holland’s experience and expertise in pediatric orthopedic surgery will be a tremendous resource to the community. Instead of having to travel to receive surgery for their child’s broken arm, parents will now be able to receive that same level of care for their children close to home at Community Howard.”
Dr. Holland attended medical school at Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine. Upon graduation, he entered active military service and completed his residency at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center/Texas Tech Health Science Center in El Paso, Texas. He then completed a pediatric orthopedic fellowship at the Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora, Colorado.
“I’m excited to be a part of the Community Physician Network and to have the opportunity to work alongside the group of dedicated physicians and caregivers at Community Howard Regional Health,” said Dr. Holland. “There’s a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care at Community Howard and I’m pleased to now be a part of that effort.”
