Community Health Network names vice president of cardiovascular services

Indianapolis, IN---Pamela London has been named vice president of cardiovascular services for Community Health Network and will oversee the health system’s patient-centered cardiovascular programs and operations. London begins her role on April 29.

“We are excited to have Pam, a highly accomplished and results-driven healthcare executive, join the Community team,” said Tom Malasto, chief operating officer for Community Health Network’s Acute Care Services and chief executive officer of Community Heart and Vascular Hospital. “Her extensive experience in operations, clinical program development and patient-centered design will enhance the cardiovascular care we provide to the communities we serve.”

London will work in collaboration with Community’s cardiovascular medical directors and other senior leaders to align and facilitate strategic and operational direction. She will lead strategic planning efforts to emphasize clinical excellence, consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences and facilitate innovation and profitable growth.

With a passion for quality patient care, London has successfully led unique and complex healthcare ventures in the Midwest and Canada. Most recently, she founded and led Family Health Advocates Inc.,a patient advocacy consulting company that offers quality care options to Canadian citizens, and also supported the Ministry of Health of Ontario’s projects and programs involving 200 Family Health Teams.

London is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, London, Canada, and earned a B.S. in nursing. Clinically, her career began in trauma and cardiovascular ICU and she then transitioned into leadership roles. She initiated and successfully launched Cleveland Clinic Canada, where she was responsible for researching and developing health care opportunities in Canada. She also managed the Department of Surgery for University Hospitals of Cleveland and served as an executive director for Sunrise Senior Living Inc.
