Community Westview Hospital president and CEO to step down

For release on June 17, 2013

Indianapolis, IN---Jon Anderson, president and CEO of Community Westview Hospital, has announced his resignation to pursue other career opportunities. Anderson has contributed five years of service to the hospital in leadership positions. His resignation is effective June 17. David Williams, D.O., chief physician executive for Community Westview Hospital, will serve as interim president and CEO while the search for Anderson’s successor begins.

“I would like to personally thank Jon for his leadership to this organization, originally as chief financial officer and then his transition to chief executive officer,” said Maria Wiley, chairwoman of the Community Westview Hospital Board of Directors. “Jon’s talents and leadership abilities were an asset to this hospital and we all wish him the very best in his future endeavors.”

Anderson joined Community Westview Hospital in January 2008 as CFO and became president and CEO in September 2009. His career also includes previously held positions such as vice president of network contracting and development at Sagamore Health Network in Carmel, IN, as well as executive vice president and CFO for Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. Under his leadership, Community Westview Hospital (formerly Westview Hospital) affiliated with Community Health Network in 2011. Community Westview has expanded its reach, adding both primary and specialty physician practices, and has moved the organization toward a strong future as an integral part of Community Health Network.
