Meet the Therapists

Therapy specialties at Speedway in west Indianapolis include physical therapy for orthopedic conditions and women's health. Specialty techniques include McKenzie, Graston and Matheson evaluations and kinesiotaping.

James Borcherding, PT, DPT, Cert MDT is a doctor of physical therapy who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic conditions. James also has a special interest in the evaluation and treatment of the cervical and thoracic spine. Additionally, James is certified in MDT/McKenzie evaluation and treatment of spine and peripheral joints.

Kristi Romine, PT, DPT is a doctor of physical therapy who specializes in general orthopedics, assessment and treatment of the running athlete, spinal and SIJ dysfunction and women’s health. Additionally, Kristi has advanced training in McKenzie Part A, Herman & Wallace Pelvic Floor Level 1 and is certified in Graston technique.

Kristy Speelman, PT, Cert MDT is a physical therapist who specializes in general orthopedics, with a special interest in spinal and SIJ dysfunction, manual therapy and custom foot orthotics. Additionally, Kristy has advanced training in functional dry needling, the evaluation and casting for the fabrication of custom foot orthotics, Hesche method of treating Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction, Trigger Point, and myofascial and proprioceptive training. She is also certified in Mechanical Diagnosis & Therapy (MDT), Graston technique and Kinesiotaping.
