Meet the Therapists

Sarah Blount, PT, DPT is a physical therapist who specializes in oncology/lymphedema rehabilitation and pelvic health therapy for women. Sarah has a special interest in range of motion, strength training and pain management for the oncology patient population, along with lymphedema management. Additionally, Sarah has advanced breast cancer specific training through Klose and is a certified lymphedema therapist through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies. She also has advanced training in Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor Function, Dysfunction and Treatment Level 1 & 2B.

Keri Vicente Flores, PT, DPT is a physical therapist with a special interest in pelvic health rehabilitation for women and men. Keri has advanced training in Herman & Wallace Pelvic Floor Function, Dysfunction, & Treatment Level 1, Level 2A, and Level 2B. She also has training in Muscle Energy Technique (MET) for pelvis, sacrum, lumbar spine and muscles of the hips. Keri is bilingual and able to serve Spanish-speaking patients.

Mary Stephanie L. Novales, PT is a physical therapist with a special interest in oncology, general orthopedics, pediatrics and geriatrics. She has advanced training in manual lymphatic drainage/complete decongestive therapy and kinesiotaping, and is a certified lymphedema therapist through Norton’s School of Lymphatic Therapy.

Kaitlin Pennington, MS, CCC-SLP is a speech-language pathologist who specializes in speech and swallow rehabilitation in patients with head and neck cancer, post-laryngectomy voice restoration, trismus, and voice and swallow disorders. Kaitlin has advanced training in dysphagia management and rehabilitation in head and neck cancer, trismus, and tracheoesophageal voice restoration following total laryngectomy. She is also certified in trismus intervention and the McNeil Dysphagia Therapy Program (MDTP). She received clinical training at MD Anderson, Houston, TX Head and Neck Department as well as with Atos Medical and InHealth Technologies.
