Our continuum of care offers a wide variety of treatment options to get you the behavioral health services you need. We provide care addressing chronic and acute conditions across the life span.

Outpatient Clinic – Mental Health & Addiction Recovery Services

Adult and youth outpatient mental health services are available at our behavioral care clinics located in Howard, Clinton, and Tipton counties. We also provide services virtually from our clinics to other surrounding Cass, Miami, and Carroll counties.

At each of our clinics, we offer individual, group and/or family therapy for issues like depression, anxiety, stress or anger management, substance abuse or gambling addiction. Care is provided by a multidisciplinary team of care providers including psychiatrists, advanced practice nurses, licensed clinical social workers, therapists and case managers.

Community and Home-Based Services

Community and home-based services teach adults and youth skills necessary to achieve success and independence. Community’s clinicians assist clients in identifying individual goals and provide the tools necessary to reach them.

School-Based Services

Therapists and life skills clinicians provide a diverse option of services within the school setting to help students be successful. In additional to partnering with families and schools, our school based teams work with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, to ensure all behavioral health care needs are addressed.

Supported Employment and Housing

The Supported Employment and Housing program is designed to identify and develop job opportunities while helping clients obtain employment. We believe that individuals diagnosed with a severe and persistent mental illness have the right to work and are frequently capable of securing and maintaining gainful employment and housing.

Medication Services

Virtual and office-based medication services enable our clinical providers the ability to provide exceptional clinical care to individuals wherever the client prefers to be.

Inpatient Services

Community offers approximately 161 acute psychiatric beds within its system which includes a 12-bed adult unit located on Community Howard’s hospital campus. We offer a full-service inpatient behavioral health continuum of care that includes dedicated units/programs for youth, senior adults, integrated addictions recovery, psychiatric intensive care, mood disorders, and for those patients with longer term mental illness.

This level of care is for those who need intensive supervision and treatment in dealing with a crisis or exacerbation of mental illness symptoms or are in need of detox support. Led by psychiatrists, our clinical staff work to coordinate individualized treatment plans for patients across the lifespan.

Youth Residential

Lutherwood Child & Family Services partnership offers a 100-bed youth residential treatment experience.

Community Fairbanks Recovery Center

Community Fairbanks Recovery Center, located on the northeast side of Indianapolis, offers a full continuum of evidence-based drug and alcohol treatment, including outpatient, inpatient, and long-term residential programs.
