Community Fairbanks Recovery Management

On the road of recovery, what someone does after finishing treatment is just as important as getting professional help in the first place. And when it comes to substance use disorders, people who stay connected to their recovery community have a better chance of remaining on the path of recovery.

As part of our continuum of care, we offer recovery management programs that help ease the transition out of treatment and into everyday life. These programs help individuals and their families as they develop and enhance their recovery life skills, easing the transition back to work, school and the community.

Through these programs, individuals will learn how to use the tools acquired in treatment while receiving help from a recovery coach. In the transition from treatment to recovery, recovery coaches are vital in keeping individuals on the path to lifelong recovery. A person will meet with his or her coach in weekly groups that introduce stress management, recovery maintenance and ideas to develop a balanced life without drugs or alcohol.

We also provide individual and family counseling for the continuing needs of everyone involved in the recovery process. Family support meetings allow individuals to connect with other families who are experiencing similar situations. This part of the program is designed to help loved ones gain knowledge about what to expect when a family member leaves treatment and begins recovery.

If you or a loved one are seeking treatment, call 800-225-HOPE 24 hours a day, seven days a week with same-day appointments available.
