Welcome to the Lawrence Health and Wellness Center. Many services are available for you and your family as an employee covered under the City of Lawrence medical plan. The Health and Wellness Center will be staffed by board-certified family practice providers who can evaluate and treat your entire family for a wide variety of ailments. Serena Baskin, MDSerena Baskin, MD

Dr. Baskin received her medical degree from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. She completed her residency in Renton, Washington at Valley Family Medicine Residency Program. She is board certified in family medicine. She returned to her Hoosier roots in 2009. She has enjoyed a varied practice in family medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine and telehealth. 

She returned to her Hoosier roots in 2009. She enjoys spending time with her family, Scouting and dancing.

Alissa Cohoat, NPAlissa Cohoat, NP

Alissa Cohoat is an AANP board certified family nurse practitioner. She earned her bachelor of science in nursing from Saint Mary's College Notre Dame and her master of science in nursing from Indiana University. She has an extensive background in women's health and pediatrics, but loves caring for people of all ages.

In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, cooking, and spending time with her husband and three daughters.

Katie has a bachelor of arts degree in health and fitness from Purdue University and is a certified American Lung Association Freedom from Smoking Facilitator.
