Community Home Health is pleased to offer you many bereavement services. We are available to offer support, initial grief counseling and connections to further community resources. We really care about you and would like to be a part of your healing journey!
We offer both monthly routine groups as well as six-week groups that are scheduled at various locations throughout our service area; we hope you will find the type of support group that best fits your needs and the location that is most appropriate. Below is an outline of our bereavement services.
Six-week grief support groups
In-Touch Bereavement Services offers a general grief and loss support group several times during the year at various locations in Central Indiana. These groups are available to anyone who has experienced a loss and desires support. The group meets one day a week for six consecutive weeks. Groups are FREE, but registration is limited to 12 participants. To register, please call 800-777-7775 or email InTouch@eCommunity.com.

Monthly support groups: Lunch Bunch
Join us for our monthly lunch bunch gatherings, facilitated by a bereavement expert, but designed for informal sharing among those traveling the grief journey together. Meetings will be held in the conference rooms at the restaurants below. Meals will be available for purchase. All are welcome and no reservation is needed. - Sunday, April 12, 3 to 4 p.m. - Candlelighting Memorial
Community Life Center, 10612 E. Washington St., Indianapolis
This non-denominational service includes words of inspiration, special music and a candle lighting ceremony. Refreshments will be served, dress is casual and children are welcome.
- Saturday, May 2, 1 to 3 p.m. - Mother's Loss Workshop
Flanner and Buchanan Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis
Whether you’re a novice or skilled, painting is known to be therapeutic—especially for those missing a loved one. Join us as we pick up our brushes, honor our mothers and have some fun. All supplies are provided and light snacks will be served.

We provide grief support and education to children and adolescents in the grieving process. Through proactive and preventive care services, our goal is to prevent the need for long-term support services or mental health treatment. School-based grief services also available. Camp Erin® Indianapolis

Camp Erin is a weekend bereavement camp for children and teens ages 6 through 17 who are grieving the death of someone close to them. Facilitated by a partnership of Community Health Network behavioral care and home health professionals and volunteers, Camp Erin Indianapolis is a weekend-long experience filled with traditional, fun camp activities, combined with grief education and emotional support.
Camp Erin, created and funded by The Moyer Foundation, is the largest bereavement camp in the United States, annually serving more than 2,500 children at more than 40 camps in over 25 states.
