Camp Erin is a bereavement camp for children and teens ages 6-17. Camp Erin Indianapolis 2014 will return to SpringHill in Seymour, Indiana the weekend of August 1-3. Our 2014 goal is to serve 90 youth.
There are a variety of volunteer positions needed to make Camp Erin Indianapolis 2014 a success. Volunteers are needed for pre-camp planning, throughout camp weekend and to support the Sunday afternoon Family Program that takes place in Indianapolis. Training will be provided and is required for all volunteers.
All volunteers working directly with the campers must have identity verification and pass a criminal background check. All volunteers will be interviewed and have the opportunity to ask questions about camp roles and expectations. Please see our volunteer FAQs for more details.
By completing an application, you agree to the criminal background check, identity verification using your social security number, and reference, employment and residency checks, where appropriate. Camp Erin Indianapolis will treat all personal information as strictly confidential. In order to provide insurance coverage for volunteers for Camp Erin, all applications will also be processed as applications to become Community Home Health volunteeers.
