Todd Williams, ATC, CSCS
Director of Fitness, Community Health Network
Todd has been with Community Health Network since 1993, spending many years in the field of rehab and sports medicine before starting the network fitness centers in 2007. He became a certified strength and conditioning specialist in 1997 and enjoys personal training people to help them reach their maximum potential and fitness goals. He has trained many Indianapolis Mini-Marathon participants, Ms. Indiana participants and individuals seeking a healthier lifestyle. Todd also enjoys going out into the community and giving presentations on corporate fitness and how to start an exercise program that is best for you.
A native of Indianapolis, he graduated from Perry Meridian High School, Indiana University and the University of Indianapolis. He completed the Indianapolis Mini-Marathon from 1997-2004 before becoming an avid road cyclist, completing the 2008 and 2009 RAIN Ride (160 miles) in eight hours. “I really love working out, whether it’s time on the bike or just spending time strength training. It’s a great time to make myself better. It can be a social event or just time to clear my head.”
Outside of BodyZone, Todd has been an NCAA division I basketball referee since 1995. He also loves spending time with his wife Jamie and their three kids. He says, "We have teenagers and it’s a blast when we can get the whole family involved in fitness and work out together.”
Todd’s motto is, “No matter who you are, no matter what you do, you absolutely, positively do have the power to change.”
Yoga and bootcamp instructor
Dawn teaches both yoga and bootcamp fitness classes at BodyZone. She has been a group fitness instructor for more than 12 years and holds instructor certifications in many areas of fitness, including foundations of group exercise, foundations of strength and conditioning, core muscle training, yoga, Pilates, Xerball and yogaball. She is a certified wellness coach and is also certified to perform CPR and first aid. Her fitness philosophy is, "Live strong!"
Outside of BodyZone, Dawn's hobbies reflect her love for fitness. She enjoys yoga, dancing and roller blading and teaches chair aerobics at retirement communities for seniors.
Jonna is a licensed Zumba instructor and has taught Zumba classes at BodyZone North since November 2010. A native of Indianapolis, she graduated from Lawrence North High School and then attended University of California - Davis. She takes her fitness philosophy from Carol Welch, who stated, "Movement is a medicine for creating change in a person's physical, emotional, and mental states."
When not teaching Zumba, Jonna loves to read, spend time with her family and sample Mexican food. She is married with three young daughters who keep her very busy with dance competitions, Girl Scouts and other activities. Jonna and her husband also enjoy the challenge of other fitness classes offered at BodyZone, including boot camp, spinning and yoga.
Lynn Stewart is a certified spinning instructor and has been leading cycling classes at BodyZone for the past two years. She also holds a certification in Foundations of Group Exercise from the YMCA and is currently working on ACE personal training certification. Her own fitness journey from being overweight, unfit and depressed about it to a healthy, active lifestyle was what fueled her interest in helping others reach their fitness goals. As a registered nurse at The Indiana Heart Hospital, she works with people every day who are facing the results of unhealthy living and struggling with the need to change.
Lynn graduated from Michigan State University and has lived in Indianapolis with her husband and three now-grown children since 1974. She enjoys her four grandchildren as well as reading, cycling outdoors and ballroom dancing along with taking fitness classes and working out at BodyZone. Her fitness philosophy is borrowed from Nike-Just Do It!. She firmly believes age is not a barrier to whatever you want to accomplish-just get started and go from there!
