Osteopathic Medicine Residencies: Personalized Care for a Unique You

Finding a personalized approach to your health can be difficult. At Community Health Network’s Osteopathic Medicine Residency location, we bring together multidisciplinary teams as your partner in health. Our practice offers team-based medical care for your family’s primary care needs.

Why Choose an Osteopathic Residency Provider?

Both DOs and MDs are an excellent option for care. However, a doctor in osteopathic medicine (DO) receives additional training on the musculoskeletal system, which is your body’s interconnected system of nerves, muscles and bones. This training gives our providers a clear and full picture of the ways that injuries and illnesses impact all areas of the body. DOs are also trained in osteopathic manipulative therapy (OMT) that allows them to use their hands to diagnose and treat injury and illness through a holistic approach.

As a patient of our osteopathic residency practice, you are cared for by a team. Your primary care doctor is a resident, which is someone who has graduated from medical school and is now going through on-the-job training with exposure to the latest in medicine. There will also be a faculty physician with many years of clinical experience that spends time teaching new providers. This is a great advantage to our patients, as we offer the best of both for your care.

Because our residency practice operates as a team, we are able to provide quick and easy access to appointments. You’ll be able to see your provider when you need it, without the wait.
