…helping women who need, but cannot afford, a mammogram.

Over $50,000 in grants and contributions have been raised for the Free Mammogram Program through the Women’s Center at Community Howard Regional Health.

…helping students through scholarships for healthcare-related education.

The Maude Kelley Scholarship fund through the Foundation gave out $15,000 to students in medical fields this year.

…helping the community by providing funds for new equipment and programs.

The Foundation provided approximately $1,000,000 in funds for new equipment over the past four years for Community Cares Program, nuclear camera scanner, fetal monitoring system, chest compression system, wheelchairs, patient furniture, arterial doppler machine, and more!

…helping to bring quality care in your neighborhood.

The Foundation also purchased, with utilization of an unrestricted donation from the estate of Anna May Hamilton and investment income, the CommunityCare Mobile which will assist the Hospital in providing health-related screenings and education to the people of north central Indiana.

Approximately 150 patients received assistance for prescriptions, cab rides and other needs through the patient assistance funds at the Foundation.

…helping hospital employees obtain critical certifications and education support.

35 employees received training through certifications this past year for approximately $29,000 through the Robert F. Miller Continuing Education Grant.
