Azita Chehresa, M.D., Ph.D. is a board certified geriatric and family medicine physician who completed her residency and subsequent fellowship training in the field of clinical geriatrics at Indiana University. Dr. Chehresa comes with several years of experience as a primary care provider for the elderly. Dr. Chehresa also holds a Ph.D. in genetics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
Dr. Chehresa sees patients at the HATS clinic located at the Health Pavilion Noblesville and attends on patients as part of the Touchpoint Senior Living team.
Dr Chehresa is an active member of American Geriatrics Society, American Academy of Family Physicians and Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. She is also a board member for the Indiana Medical Director Association. She is also involved in research; her areas of special interest include improvement of quality of care to frail elders, the impact of multidisciplinary interventions on transitions of care, geriatric depression and dementia.
In her free time, Dr. Chehresa enjoys spending time with her family, reading, painting and traveling.
