Dr. Pallekonda immigrated to the US when he was five years old and grew up for the most part in the southern states. During his formative years, he developed a strong desire to find meaning in life and soon found his greatest satisfaction was in helping others. His journey led him back to India, where he completed his medical school training at Kasturba Medical College in Manipal.
Dr. Pallekonda and his wife Sue, also a physician, have four children. They have made Indianapolis their home since 2000. Outside of his commitment to medicine, his hobbies include medical missions, serving in church, spending time with his wife and children, and sports.
